The Brobasket makes for a perfect last minute gift option, especially if you need to overnight a last minute gift! We are able to process and ship orders that come in before 3pm PST/ 6pm EST, Monday through Friday. This means that we can ship an order the same day it is placed, as long as the order was placed before this time.
Please keep in mind that the Brobasket is beholden to its carrier’s delivery schedule, which do include some holidays. We unfortunately do not offer same day shipping unless you are in Ventura County and looking to have your gift shipped on a business day. We are unfortunately unable to deliver your gift on a Sunday.
Can I choose a delivery date?
Yes, you will be given the option to choose your delivery date at checkout. A calendar will provide you with the option to select and view the shipping costs for your selected arrival date prior to checking-out.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We offer Ground, Overnight, 2-day and 3-day delivery!
How much does shipping cost?
The cost of shipping depends on the size/weight of the basket, shipping service, and shipping destination. Whilst cost varies depending on these factors, Ground shipping for our featured baskets typically cost between $8.85-$29.95. In some instances, shipping can exceed this range based on the size and weight of the gift.
How fast can my order get there?
If you place your order before 3pm PST, Monday – Friday, you can take advantage of having your package shipped out of the warehouse that day, as all shipments out of the warehouse occur prior to 3pm PST. This means that you get to take advantage of same day shipping, with tomorrow being the quickest we can get a BroBasket to your recipient.
It is good to note that overnight shipping is guaranteed! Any overnight delivery order that does not arrive on time will allow you to receive a full refund for any shipping costs.
*Please keep in mind that overnight shipping is the only method that is currently guaranteed. Although we will always ship your order in time to arrive by the arrival date requested, our carriers do experience delays from time to time due to the pandemic or unforeseeable issues such as bad weather. Due to this, we are unable to guarantee that your package will arrive on the exact date selected or provide refunds due to late arrivals. Although it is rare for delays to occur, we unfortunately have no control over this despite us doing our best to ensure that your gift leaves our warehouse on time.
How is the shipping cost calculated?
The shipping cost will depend on the size and weight of your gift, the destination it is going to, and the delivery date requested. If you would like to determine the cost of shipping for your gift, you will simply want to proceed to the checkout process. You are given the option to select the delivery date from a calendar prior to entering your card information. The calendar will convey how much shipping costs, depending on the date you have chosen.
Does someone need to sign for the delivery?
YES! Most of our gift baskets contain beer, wine, and or spirits which require an adult signature. If your basket contains alcohol, someone over the age of 21 needs to be there to sign for the package. If the package does not contain alcohol, no signature is required!
What if an adult is not present at the time of delivery?
It is good to note that UPS and our carrier Golden State Overnight will make up to three consecutive attempts to deliver your package. If they are unsuccessful to deliver your package on all three attempts, the carrier will hold the package at the nearest facility. If there is no one available to pick-up the package at their facility, the package will be returned back to BroBasket and BroBasket will refund the basket purchased, minus shipping fees accrued due to the packages return to our facility. At that point however, there does remain the option to have the basket reshipped!
We do highly recommend that you ship the BroBasket to a place with an adult present during the day. We also recommend that our customers ship to offices and business locations. (Baskets do not arrive with our logo, so the business will have no idea what the baskets contains.)
Please refer to our terms and conditions to be assured that we follow all applicable local and state laws when shipping our baskets. We do not sell or ship any gift baskets containing alcohol to minors, as the law prohibits minors from receiving or sending liquor, wine, and beer.
What if my package can’t get delivered?
If your package is undeliverable due to unpredictable circumstances such as our carrier being unable to locate your address, Brobasket being provided an inaccurate address, airplane failures, weather delays, or other acts beyond our control, the package will be returned back to BroBasket. BroBasket will refund the basket(s) you purchased, minus the returned shipping fees accrued due to our carrier shipping the basket back to us. These fees will be deducted from the refund that Brobasket applies to your card.
There does remain the option to have the basket reshipped back to you. We would simply need to collect the new shipping costs to resend the basket to your recipient! In this instance, you would be contacted once the basket returns to the facility to discuss your options!
We Cannot Deliver Alcohol to:
We are unable to ship international or to Post Office Boxes, Military Addresses, Puerto Rico and other and/or US territories.
Post Offices and Military locations are able to receive baskets that do not contain alcohol however!
Due to some state liquor laws, BroBaskets with alcohol in them are not able to be shipped to; Utah, Alabama, Illinois, New Hampshire, Michigan, Massachusetts, and Mississippi. There are a few other states that we can only ship certain things to, see the full list here.
Are delivery times guaranteed?
Although we have spent countless hours crafting a custom date picking solution that ensures that your BroBasket will get to your recipient on the day that your requested, there can be delays on rare occasions due to circumstances outside of Brobasket’s control.

Due to this, we are unable to guarantee that your package will arrive on the exact date selected or provide refunds due to late arrivals. How do I determine how much shipping will cost?
You can select a delivery date prior to checkout. The calendar will provide you with a different shipping costs depending on the date, shipping option selected and the size/weight of your order. Make sure you look at the price associated with the date you picked because shipping can tend to get pricey if you want your package to arrive tomorrow (especially if its a Saturday) and you are on the East Coast. If you do not mind when the BroBasket arrives, do not select a date and we will send it out within 24 business hours via regular ground. If you want to ship your basket with the least expensive method, you can simply select ground shipping.
How do I find my tracking info?
Your tracking information will be emailed to you after your order is shipped.If your order was placed before 3pm PST on Monday-Friday, you should receive an email with your tracking information before 5:30pm PST. If your order is placed after 3pm PST, you will receive an email before 5:30pm PST the following business day.
If you haven’t gotten your tracking info yet, it is most likely because your gift has not gone out yet. An order that is placed with much advanced notice may be held onto until it is the right time to ship your package. Example, an order placed on October 1st with an arrival date of October 31st, will be held onto for some time before it is shipped. This ensures that your gift does not arrive too early.
**Please make sure to check your email after you place your order. We will contact you if any further information is needed. Our emails sometimes end up in spam, so it is important to check there as well! 🙂
What if the gift is going to a Hotel / Hospital?
If you want to ensure that your gift is successfully delivered, it is important to include the name of the hotel/ hospital as well as the room number of your recipient if possible.
Is my name, price, or invoice included with the shipment?
No. The recipient will simply receive a BroBasket or BroBox packed in a box with a greeting card with exactly what you wrote in the special message field when completing your purchase. If you do want to include your name, please include your name on the greeting card so the recipient knows who it is that sent their gift. You can also remain anonymous by excluding your name.
What if The Brobasket sends a gift with an incorrect or incomplete address?
If your address is inaccurate or incomplete and our carrier flags this, we will contact you right away via email. If The Brobasket does not get a response to the email we send out regarding the flagged address, we will wait for a response. If we do not get a response to the email, we will hold the package until we get a response. This can cause us to not be able to ship the package by your request delivery date. Please make sure to check your email after you place your order. We will contact you if any further information is needed. Our emails sometimes end up in spam, so it is important to check there as well! 🙂
Please keep in mind that if an incomplete or wrong address is entered when you purchase your basket, this can delay the shipment of your package. This would occur if the Brobasket does not get a response to the email we send out regarding the flagged address. If the address is not updated prior to the day that the warehouse needs to ship it, we will hold the package until we get a response. Make sure to check your emails after you place your order. We will contact you if any further information is needed.
If your package is already shipped with inaccurate information provided, we can request our carrier to update the address after the fact. If this is possible for our carrier to do, you may be required to pay an additional charge for the address update. We will keep you posted if this occurs!
What if I buy something that is being sent to a state that you are not able to ship to?
If you purchased something that you want to send to a state that we are unable to ship to, you will receive an email notification and a refund in 2-7 business days. If you would like to make a purchase in the future we will gladly extend a discount for the trouble that it may have caused.
How do you pack your gift Baskets and gift sets?
The Gift Baskets are hand made, typically on the same day that they go out the door. This ensures that only the freshest products get shipped to our customers. The baskets are then shrink wrapped in clear plastic to preserve their presentation and boxed using an Instapack expanding foam packaging machine. This ensures that they arrive looking the same as they did when they left our warehouse.
Do the baskets come exactly like they look?
We pride ourselves on ensuring that our baskets arrive as close to how you see them on the website as possible. We do occasionally run out of certain products (especially around the holidays) or a supplier may discontinue an item last minute. In those cases, we will substitute the missing item for a similar item of equal or greater value. On even rarer occasions, an item may show up jumbled or broken. If you are unsatisfied with the presentation or any item’s condition, please contact us! If anything is broken we will ship our replacements ASAP.
We love making gifts that are as personalized as possible. That means we will entertain special requests (within reason) to take a gift to the next level. We’ve hunted down special liquors, beers, and wines, but we also love doing simple things like including a photo of the recipient’s favorite celebrity! Just let us know and we will see what we can do for you!
